Mike Pence (R-Ind): Rush Limbaugh doesn't have a Racist Bone in his Body

I know what you're thinking. Something along the lines of "wahuhwhat?" This is Rush Limbaugh, the guy who accused Colin Powell of backing Obama because they're both black guys. And Mike Pence went on national television and said that Limbaugh ain't a racist.

Puh-lease.

The best part of this? This video was uploaded on YouTube by none other than Congressman Mike Pence. Or at least whoever takes care of his YouTube channel for him. This interview, is in his view, a good representation of his work and something of which to be proud. Some people are just hopeless, huh.

Side note: how embarrassing is it that the only people who subscribe to Pence's channel are Boehner, Cantor, and the House of Representatives Republican Conference: The Channel for Republicans in Congress?

There were many messages intertwined, but at every step he called us to be stronger, better, and more mature than we have been these last eight years. It's going to take some adjusting to reach these new goals, but they are necessary for the nation.

Back from the Dead

Hey guys. I know I've been gone for a long while. I moved apartments, went on a three week holiday, and then hit the Inauguration. But I'm back.

Things are going to be a little different. I'll start posting the political cartoons tomorrow, but I am also going to make a concerted effort to ramp up the "random madness" portion of Pop Civics. Or at least ramp up the madness, even if it's less random.

I know, I know. I'm terrible. But I'm back, so please forgive me.
